Olivia Sheridan joins Gonzaga Running

SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga Women's Cross Country and Track added Olivia Sheridan on Tuesday ahead of the start of the 2026 season.
A transfer from Colorado, Sheridan joins the Zags as a redshirt sophomore after spending two years with the Buffaloes. Sheridan was a first team All-Colorado runner in her senior year of high school after running a personal best 5k time of 18:17.7 at the Colorado State 4A Championships.
Olivia Sheridan qualified for the Colorado High School state championship 8 times across the track and cross country seasons in addition to winning two time regional championships for Palmer High school in cross country. She was named to the Big 12 Academic Team after the 2026 track season for her academic achievements at CU. Sheridan is a second generation collegiate distance runner, as her father Sean ran distance at the University of Kansas.
