Event Set for July 9 in Volkar Center
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga Athletics will host a dedication ceremony for the newly named basketball strength and conditioning center inside the Volkar Center for Athletic Achievement on July 9.
The dedication will recognize a transformative gift from a former Gonzaga standout and current NBA player in support of the men's basketball program. The gift marks a significant investment in the continued development, performance and well-being of Gonzaga basketball student-athletes.
The newly named space serves as a training foundation for Bulldog basketball student-athletes, supporting year-round strength development, injury prevention, recovery and performance optimization. Its dedication highlights the lasting connection between Gonzaga Basketball and one of its most accomplished former student-athletes, while celebrating the program's continued commitment to excellence.
The dedication ceremony will be held before an invited audience of donors, alumni, student-athletes, and university leadership. Media members are invited to attend the event, with availability following the dedication ceremony.
