Men's Golf Named GCAA All-Academic Team

Zags earned prestigious Presidents Special Recognition
NORMAN, Okla. – The Gonzaga men's golf team was named a PLATFORM Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team Wednesday, earning Presidents Special Recognition.
The Bulldogs were among a GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award. Eighty-eight programs across the NCAA Div. I level to received the Presidents Special Recognition honor (3.5+ grade point average). GU boasted a team GPA of 3.62 in the spring term.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year. Programs with 3.5 or better GPAs received President's Special Recognition status. Teams with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.5 were named All-Academic.
Maryland Eastern Shore (NCAA Division I), Virginia State (NCAA Division II), Bowdoin (NCAA Division III), Texas A&M-San Antonio (NAIA), Iowa Western (NJCAA Division I), Kirkwood (NJCAA Division II), and Maryland Eastern Shore (HBCU) were all named 2025-26 GCAA Academic National Champions for finishing with the top GPA in their respective divisions.
