| Aisle Policy | ||
| All aisles, steps, and tunnels must be kept clear at all times. Staff members are the only individuals who are permitted to stand in these areas and should keep these passage ways clear for guests' safety, spectator enjoyment and to comply with fire code. | ||
| Artificial Noisemakers | ||
| Artificial noisemakers of any kind are prohibited from entering inside McCarthey Athletic Center or to be used at any time during an event. Examples of artificial noisemakers include (but are not limited to): whistles, drums, air horns and megaphones. | ||
| Alcohol, Tobacco, E-Cigarettes, Illegal Drugs | ||
Tobacco, e-cigarettes, marijuana and illegal drugs are prohibited from entering or being used inside McCarthey Athletic Center at all times. Guests may not bring alcohol into the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Gonzaga Athletics will evaluate the program throughout the season and make adjustments as needed to ensure it continues to provide a safe, responsible and enjoyable environment for all fans. | ||
| Animals | ||
| All animals are prohibited from McCarthey Athletic Center except for certified service animals or service animals in training. | ||
| ATMs | ||
| ATMs are located on the main concourse outside sections 107 and 116. All concessions stands accept credit cards. All concessions stands accept credit cards. | ||
| Automobile Trouble | ||
| AAA car service will be on site once the game has begun for all Men's Basketball home games. If assistance is needed, please call 509-828-2596. | ||
| Baby Changing Stations | ||
| Located in women's restrooms outside of sections 103, 112, 116 and men's restrooms outside sections 104, 106, 113, and 115. Baby changing stations are also available in the family restrooms on the north concourse outside sections 103/104 and 106/107. | ||
| Balloons | ||
| Balloons are prohibited inside McCarthey Athletic Center at all times. | ||
| Banners and Signs | ||
| Only hand-held banners or signs that do not obstruct the view of other guests are permitted inside McCarthey Athletic Center. Banners and signs may not be commercial or offensive in any nature. For guest safety, any banner, flag, or sign attached to a pole or stick is prohibited. Guests are not allowed to hang signs to any part of the building. Event staff reserves the right to remove any signs deemed inappropriate or which may be impeding another patrons view of the game. | ||
| Bike Racks | ||
| Bike racks are located outside North and South Martin Centre doors, next to McCarthey Athletic Center. Additional racks located outside the Hemmingson Center Southeast and Southwest corners, across from McCarthey Athletic Center. | ||
| Camera Policy | ||
| Cameras are allowed into McCarthey Athletic Center. Tripods are not permitted unless the individual has a media or In-house TV credential. Filming or taking photos from the concourse, with or without a tripod, is not permitted. Flash photography is not permitted during basketball games inside McCarthey Athletic Center. | ||
| Children | ||
| Children under two years of age are not required to have a ticket provided they sit on an adult's lap. No discounted tickets are available for children. | ||
| Clear Bag Policy | ||
Gonzaga athletics enforces a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bag that may be brought into McCarthey Athletic Center. All bags must be clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag 12 deep x 6 wide x 12 long or smaller to enter McCarthey Athletic Center.

| Floor access is limited to players, coaches, managers, and trainers of competing teams and properly credentialed individuals at all times. | ||

Sodexo is the concessionaire for Gonzaga University and will be present for all events. Concessions stands are located around the main concourse with varying options at each stand. Below are some items sold at each stand, while supplies lasts.

| Doors open one-and-a-half hours before tip-off at all men's and women's basketball games. For other events being held in the McCarthey Athletic Center, door opening times may vary | ||

| Elevators are located in both the southeast and northwest corners of the McCarthey Athletic Center. | ||

| Entrance Screening | ||
| Metal Detectors All persons and their belongings are subject to search prior to entry and once inside McCarthey Athletic Center. Walk-through metal detectors will be the primary means of screening. For guests who are unable to utilize a walk-through metal detector, hand-held metal detectors will be used with physical pat-downs as a final alternative option. Any person who does not consent to screening will be denied entry into the facility. Gonzaga University reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering McCarthey Athletic Center. Children All guests, including children, are subject to screening. Infants and toddlers may be carried through the walk-through metal detectors. Children who are able to walk through will be asked to go through on their own. If the walk-through metal detector alarms for items on a child, secondary screening will occur in the presence of a parent/guardian. Designated Medical/Family Lanes are also available at each entrance for families with small children who opt to be screened with a hand-held metal detector. Guests with Disabilities Guests with disabilities who are willing to utilize walk-through metal detectors are encouraged to do so; however, these lanes are not accessible for wheelchairs and other assistive devices. The designated Medical/Family Lanes at each entrance are accessible for all guests with disabilities. Guests will be screened using a hand-held metal detector and/or physical patdown. Assistive devices will be visually inspected following standard bag search procedures. Guests with Medical Devices Guests with medical devices should consult their doctor or device manufacturer if unsure of their ability to utilize a walkthrough metal detector. Event staff will not give advice regarding any medical devices. Guests who are unable to use a walk-through metal detector should utilize the Designated Medical/Family Lanes at each entrance. Guests should notify event staff that they have a medical device. Guests who agree to screening with a hand-held metal detector will be asked to place their palm over the area of the device so that it can be avoided during screening. After hand-held metal detector screening is complete, event staff will clear the area of the device using a physical pat-down. | ||
| Exit & Re-Entry | ||
| Exit and Re-Entry of the McCarthey Athletic Center is not permitted during men's or women's basketball games. If patrons leave the facility, a new ticket is required to be re-admitted. This includes patrons who want to go to their car or step out to smoke. | ||

| Fan Conduct | ||
| Gonzaga University and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and fans. We request your cooperation in supporting the student-athletes and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, derogatory comments or other intimidating actions directed at athletes, officials, team representatives or other fans will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a safe and positive game environment. | ||
| First Aid/Medical | ||
| The fire department is onsite for every game to assist with any guest injuries or emergencies. The fire department will be located on the concourse above section 108. Please contact any usher if medical attention is needed. | ||
| Food and Beverages | ||
| No outside food or beverages will be allowed to enter the facility. Permanent and mobile concession stands are located around the concourse. For a list of food items and locations please see Concessions. | ||
| Guest Services | ||
| Guest services is located in the southeast entry of the McCarthey Athletic Center, at the ticket office will call window during games. Lost and found, hearing assistance device distribution, and general information questions are handled here during events. Open one and a half hour prior to tip off till end of game. | ||
| Hall of Honor | ||
| The recently added Gonzaga Athletics Hall of Fame is located between the Martin Centre and the Volkar Center for Athletic Achievement. The Hall of Honor is open to the public and is free of charge. The Hall of Honor visiting hours are the same times as Rudolf Fitness Center open hours. Times may change from semester to semester or on Holidays. Current Hours of Operations for Hall of Fame (Same as Rudolf Fitness Center): Monday -Thursday 6 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. There is no access to the Hall of Honor from inside the McCarthey Athletic Center. If a patron leaves the arena during a game, a new ticket is required to re-enter the arena. Guests wishing to visit the Hall of Honor on game days are recommended to do so before entering McCarthey Athletic Center and before having their ticket scanned. Guests who do visit the Hall of Honor before entering the McCarthey Athletic Center will need to exit the Hall of Honor and enter the arena from the Northeast or Southeast General Public entrances. There is no entrance directly from the Hall of Honor into the arena. | ||
| Lost and Found | ||
| To report or claim any lost items during the event, please visit Guest Services located at the Southeast entry of the McCarthey Athletic Center inside the ticket office. To claim any items lost after the event is over please call the Athletic Ticket Office at 509-313-6000. | ||
| Merchandise | ||
| The Bulldog Sports Shop merchandise stand is located in the Northeast corner of the main concourse, outside sections 107. Fans can shop Gonzaga gear on non-event days at the Campus Bookstore, two blocks north of McCarthey Athletic Center. | ||
| Parking | ||
| ADA ADA parking is available in the McCarthey Athletic Center Southeast lot and a portion of the McCarthey Athletic Center South Reserved lot. A disabled placard or license plate must be presented to park in ADA parking. Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis until full. Reserved and Priority Parking A portion of the south lot next to McCarthey Athletic Center is a reserved for Priority Parking and ADA spaces. Individuals must have an ADA placard or license plate, or have a Priority Parking pass to park in the Reserved lot. ADA spaces are available on a first come first serve basis until full. Public Parking Public parking lots include McCarthey Athletic Center south lot and the campus parking deck (BARC) one block north of the arena. RV Parking RVs must be pre-approved to park in Gonzaga parking lots on game days. Approval for game parking is through Athletic Facilities department and approval for overnight parking is granted from GU Security. Approved RVs must park next to Patterson Baseball Complex in the south lot. | ||
| Prohibited Items | ||
For the safety and security of all guests, certain items may not be brought into the McCarthey Athletic Center. Storage facilities are not available for checking prohibited items.

| Programs | ||
| Programs can be purchased in the East Lobby at the programs table or from members of the dance team near both north and south entrances. Programs are sold through half time each game, or while supplies lasts. | ||
| Projectiles | ||
| Gonzaga Athletic Department prohibits the throwing of items onto the floor or anywhere around the arena. Incidents may result in the home team receiving a technical foul in basketball and the offender being ejected from the building without refund. | ||
| Student Standards of Conduct | ||
The Gonzaga Athletic department follows the University Standards of Conduct Policy for every event held in Gonzaga Athletic Facilities including McCarthey Athletic Center.
Admission to the University carries with it the presumption that students will conduct themselves as responsible members of the community. Upon registration, each student agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the University. | ||
| Volkar Center | ||
The Volkar Center for Athletic Achievement is a 51,240-square-foot facility to be built directly south of the Martin Centre, and will help student-athletes succeed in competition, in the classroom and in the community. The building will house student-athlete support services, a weight room, nutrition center, basketball practice court, Gonzaga Athletics Hall of Fame, and multiple meeting areas. Combined with spaces in the Martin Centre and McCarthey Athletic Center, the building will provide Gonzaga student-athletes with among the finest facilities and support services in the nation. Guests will not be able to access or tour the Volkar Center on game days. A hospitality pass is required to attend the Volkar Center Social on men's basketball game days.
