Dr. Peggy Sue Loroz Faculty Athletics Representative/Professor of Marketing 509-313-3433 loroz@gonzaga.edu Peggy Sue is a Professor of Marketing and has been the institution’s NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative since 2012. In that role, she serves as a liaison between the academic side of the institution and the Department of Athletics, with a focus on the academic experience of student-athletes and student-athlete well-being. She also serves on the Executive Council of the West Coast Conference. Peggy Sue graduated from Gonzaga University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business and a minor in Spanish, and she earned her Ph.D. in Marketing and Social Psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She is a proud alumna of the GU women’s rowing team. |

Steffany Galbraith Director of Academic Support Services Sport Contact for: Baseball, Volleyball, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Rowing 509-313-3942 galbraith@gonzaga.edu Steffany joined the Academic Support Staff in 2013 as an Academic Coordinator with the Men’s Basketball program, and has served as the Director of Academic Support Services since 2016. In this role, she oversees the academic support programming for all student-athletes. Steffany is a 2011 graduate of Gonzaga, earning her Bachelor of Education in Physical Education, as well as a 2013 graduate of Gonzaga earning her Master of Arts in Sport and Athletic Administration. |

Colette Yamaoka Academic Coordinator Sport Contact for: Men’s Basketball, Men’s Golf, Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field, Women’s Tennis 509-313-4229 yamaoka@gonzaga.edu Colette joined the Academic Support staff in July 2024. Prior to Gonzaga, she spent time at Florida State University working as an Academic Fellow in Student Athlete Academic Services and at Oregon State University as an Assistant Learning Specialist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in 2022 where she was also a student-athlete on the gymnastics team. She went on to earn her Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington in 2023. |

Charlie Watkins Academic Coordinator Sport Contact for: Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field, Men’s Rowing, Women’s Golf, Men’s Tennis 509-313-3674 watkinsc2@gonzaga.edu Charlie joined the academic support staff at Gonzaga in June of 2021 as the Graduate Intern for Academic Services. In October of 2022, he moved into his current role as Academic Coordinator for six teams, including, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Cross Country/Track, Women’s Golf, Men’s Tennis, and Men’s Rowing. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University in 2019, earning a degree in sport management. Charlie earned his Master of Education degree at Carthage College in 2021 and his Master of Arts in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga in 2023. |

Lainie Albright Graduate Intern Academic Services 509-313-3846 albrightl@gonzaga.edu Lainie joined the Gonzaga Athletic Department as the Graduate Intern for Academic Services in July of 2023. Lainie primarily assists with academic advising and coordinating the peer tutorial program, while also pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Athletic Administration at Gonzaga. Lainie comes from the University of Montana where she graduated with a degree in Education in May of 2023. |
