Prior to Gonzaga
- DiMartino ran Cross Country and Track for Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, WA for 3 years. He was bit of a late bloomer when coming to running but has shown great growth each year. Nicky dropped a lot of time in his Junior year to help his cross country team reach the WIAA 3A State meet, and in the Spring qualified for the 1600m and 3200m WIAA 3A State meet. He placed 7th in the 3200m running a 9:25 and 9th in the 1600m with a 4:20. In his senior year he got 8th at the WIAA 3A State meet for Cross Country as the team placed 2nd.

- “I chose Gonzaga because when I toured and met all of the guys that I’d be with for the next couple of years, it just felt right. It felt like home and something I wanted to be a part of.
