Prior to Gonzaga
- Augustine's high school team was back to back state champions his junior and senior year and finished second at Nike Cross Nationals. His high school PRs are 3:52 (1500m - 4:11 mile) and 8:21 (3000m). He was fifth at the state cross country meet, third in state track for the 3K, and sixth in state for the 1500m, earning first-team all state.
Personal
- Planning to major in mechanical engineering. "I chose Gonzaga because of how welcoming everyone was and how proud everyone is to be a Zag. I felt like there was a group of guys who were invested and willing to do the work so I wanted to be a part of that kind of a culture. Fun fact is that I am a huge basketball fan and I grew up a hooper and even played a little in high school until deciding to pursue running like my older brother. I also love the great and beautiful pacific northwest and spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors with family and friends."
