Biography
2023-24 (Fall): 2 seat of the second varsity 8+ that topped Oregon State’s 2V by 11 seconds securing a 3rd overall finish at the Head of the Spokane. Stroke seat of the varsity 4+ that finished first 1 second ahead of Oregon State 2023-24 (Spring): 8 seat for the Second Varsity 8+ that finished second against Minnesota with a time of 7:01.73… 2 seat for the 2V8 that took first place in two races against Saint Mary’s, with times of 6:46.48 and 7:29.73… 2 seat for the 2V8 that took second place (6:51.90), third place (7:09.80), and first place (6:54.00) at the Lake Natoma Invite… 2 seat for the 2V8 that beat WSU with a time of 6:46.12… 2 seat for the 2V8 that took third place against five other boats at the Dexter Lake Invite with a time of 6:41.94… 2 seat for the 2V8 that took second place at the WCC Championships with a time of 6:52.390… 2 seat for the 2V8 that placed 17th overall at the NCAA Championships, finishing with a time of 6:51.444 in the C Final…
2022-23: Was a consistent member of the Varsity 8 team, where she helped the squad earn first at the Head of the Spokane, along with second at the Head of the Lake… Also placed first against Oklahoma, with a time of 6:44.99, and second at the Oregon State Invitational, concluding with a time of 6:56.41… Went on to also earn second against Washington State, first at the Triton Invitational, and fourth at the Dexter Lake Invitational… Wrapped up her impressive season by placing first at the WCC Championship, ending with a time of 6:38.492, and picked up multiple top-five heat finishes at the NCAA Championships, culminating in a first-place finish in the Zags’ final heat of the season…
2021-22: Began the season in the No.8 position of the Second Varsity 8 team, where she aided in Gonzaga’s fourth-place finish at the Head of the Lake event… At the PLU event, Parr was moved to the stroke position of the Varsity 8 team, where she helped earn consecutive first-place finishes… Also assisted the Varsity 8 team in earning first, with a time of 6:50.45, in their race against Minnesota… Earned back-to-back second-place finishes with the Varsity 8 team at the San Diego Crew Classic…Part of the crew that swept the WCC Championship and went on to compete at the NCAA Championship
Personal: Involved in both rowing and cross country while attending Bainbridge High School… Earned varsity letters in both sports and went to Nationals for rowing in 2019… Now studying nursing at Gonzaga… Supported by her parent, Amy… Has three siblings: Samantha, Camoran, and Marons…
