2024-25 (Fall): 8 seat in varsity 8+ placed second with a time of 16:27, two seconds behind first at the Head of Spokane. (Spring): Earned a placement on the 2025 For Stars Network Spring Watchlist in Division 1…Chosen for the 2025 WCC Rowing Preseason Team…Seat 8 in varsity 8+ finishing with a time of 6:35.14  in the Dexter Lake invite…Seat 8 in varsity 8+ finishing third behind Miami by less than a second with a time of 6:38.163 at the Lake Wheeler Invite…placed fourth with a time of 6:30.431 to close the invite… Bow seat in varsity 8+ finishing with a time of 6:34.34, a personal record, placing first for the first day of the WCC Championship…Earned a silver metal in the final heat of the Championship with a time of 6:45.780…Named West Coast Conference Rowing All-Academic Honorable Mention.

2023-24 (Fall): 5 seat of the second varsity 8+ that had a 5th place finish at the Head of the Spokane. Bow seat of the second varsity 4+ that finished 8th overall at Head of the Spokane. 2023-24 (Spring): 8 seat for the Varsity 8+ that finished second against Minnesota with a time of 6:39.52… Also 8 seat for the 1V8 that took first place in two races against Saint Mary’s, with times of 6:31.13 and 7:06.89… 8 seat for the 1V8 that won three races at the Lake Natoma Invite, with times of 6:29.30, 6:48.70, and 6:38.10… 8 seat for the 1V8 that took second against WSU with a time of 6:37.28… 8 seat for the 1V8 that took first place over five other boats at the Dexter Lake Invite with a time of 6:29.50… 8 seat for the 1V8 that won the WCC Championships with a time of 6:38.800… Named to the All-WCC Team… 8 seat for the 1V8 that placed 17th overall at the NCAA Championships, finishing with a time of 6:36.761 in the C Final…

2022-23: Performed throughout the season with the Second Varsity 8 team, where she helped earn a fifth-place finish at the Head of the Spokane, a fourth-place finish at the Head of the Lake, a second-place finish against Oklahoma, and a third-place finish at the Oregon State Invitational… Later in the season, earned a second-place finish, with a time of 7:01.11, against Washington State, and a first-place finish at the Triton Invitational, finishing with a time of 7:02.7… Finished the season by taking first at the WCC Championship, with a time of 6:45.61, and first in the Second Varsity 8 team’s final heat at the NCAA Championships, with a time of 7:06.387…

2021-22 (Fall): Raced in 3v8 at the Head of the Spokane that defeated both Oregon State 3v8 and LMU 2v8 ... Won the Collegiate Jv 8+ race at the Head of the Lake in Gonzaga’s 3v8+ over University of Washington and Portland (Spring): Finishing with time of 7:01.1 and 7:14.1, Beck assisted in back-to-back first-place finishes at the PLU Invitational… In a very competitive race against Minnesota, Beck aided the Second Varsity 8 team in their fourth-place finish… At the San Diego Crew Classic, Beck moved to the No.2 position of the Second Varsity 8 team, where she helped secure finishes in fourth and seventh place…Was part of the crew that swept the WCC Championships and went on to compete at the NCAA Championships


Personal: Daughter of Marau and Hobey, and sister of Braden, Kavika, and Whitney … Participated in soccer, paddling and cross country while attending The Garden Island High School … A four-time MVP for both her paddling and cross country team ... Also earned the Coaches Award for track …Canoe Paddling MVP and V1 & OC1 Kauai Island Champion ... Cross Country MVP and Kauai Island Champion for the 5K ... Track & Field MVP and Kauai Island Champion in the 1500m & 3000m
Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, Ella was also a four-time honor roll and dean’s list student while in high school ... Majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Journalism.
