2023-24 (Fall): 4 seat of the second Varsity 8th that finished 5th at the Head of the Spokane. 2023-24 (Spring): 4 seat for the Varsity 4+ that took first place over Minnesota with a time of 7:46.59… Also 4 seat for the 1V4 that took first place in two races against Saint Mary’s, with times of 7:36.07 and 8:17.76… 4 seat for the 1V4 that took second place (7:41.40), second place (7:51.30), and first place (7:46.20) at the Lake Natoma Invite… 2 seat for the 1V4 that beat WSU with a time of 7:36.62… 4 seat for the 2V4 that took second place against four other boats at the Dexter Lake Invite with a time of 7:31.45… 4 seat for the 1V4 that won the WCC Championships with a time of 7:30.180… 4 seat for the 1V4 that placed 16th overall at the NCAA Championships, finishing with a time of 7:26.368 in the C Final…
2022-23: Began the year with the Second Varsity 8 team, where she helped the squad earn fifth at the Head of the Spokane, fourth at the Head of the Lake, second against Oklahoma, and third at the Oregon State Invitational… Later transitioned to the Varsity 4 team, where she earned her first victory of the season, with a time of 7:35.67, against Washington State… Also picked up a first-place finish at the Triton Invitational, with a time of 7:40.7, and a fourth-place finish at the Dexter Lake Invitational, with a time of 8:01.2… Closed out her impressive season placing first at the WCC Championship, with a time of 7:31.386, and multiple top-five finishes in the Varsity 4 team’s heats at the NCAA Championships…
2021-22: Rowing with the Fourth Varsity 8 team, began her season by finishing first with a time of 7:35.6 at the PLU Invitational… At Washington State University , helped the Third Varsity 8 team finish second with a time of 7:24.40… Part of the crew that swept the WCC Championships
2020-2021: In V4 that defeated WCC rival LMU in first spring competition (Bretschneider, Monson, Claborn, Brose, Weber) ... Part of V4 (Monson, Salmick, Claborn, Brose), boat that swept all 3 races at GU Invitational against U. Portland, Seattle U and Pacific Lutheran ... In V4 that won the 2021 WCC Championships (Monson, Salmick, Brose, Claborn) ... Named to Gonzaga Dean’s List (GPA > 3.5) (2021)
HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Windermere High School in Wandermere, Fla…competed on her high school crew team where she won the Most Valuable Rower award…represented the Southeast Region at the 2018 U.S. Rowing Regional Challenge and won multiple medals from the FSRA Central District Championship
Personal: Studying international business and accounting at Gonzaga… Earned placement on principal’s honors list and participated in National Honor Society while attending Windermere High School… Encouraged by Shawn and Raquel, her parents, and Adelyn and Ashton, her siblings...chose Gonzaga because there is a good balance between a competitive rowing program and academics.
