Casey Collins

Collins joined the Gonzaga staff in January 2026.

Collins makes his way to Spokane after serving as an assistant coach at UNLV last season. Prior to UNLV, Collins was the head coach at Walla Walla Community College (Walla Walla, Washington) where he served as men's soccer head coach for four seasons (2021-24) and women's soccer assistant coach this past year. Prior to that, he spent three seasons (2018-20) as the head coach of the Schreiner University (Kerrville, Texas) men's soccer program at the NCAA Division III level.
 
During his time at WWSC, Collins led the Warriors to a No. 5 ranking in the final 2024 United Soccer Coaches NJCAA Division II Poll and 19th in the 2023 rankings. A two-time Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) East Region Coach of the Year, he guided the program to two NWAC Final Four appearances, including a trip to the 2022 NWAC Championship game.
 
Among his achievements in Walla Walla, Collins coached the school's first All-American in school history, three All-West Region Team selections, 13 NWAC All-Stars, the 2023 East Region Player of the Year and the 2024 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year.
 
Before his stints as a head coach, Collins was an assistant coach of the men's and women's soccer programs at the University of Houston - Victoria for three seasons (2015-18). In this role, the UHV men went 36-13-4 and won the 2017 Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship en route to the school's first trip to the NAIA National Tournament. Within that same span, the Jaguar women's squad amassed a 28-19-2 record and made their program debut in the NAIA National Polls in 2015, ranking as high as No. 20 that season.
 
During his UHV tenure, Collins helped produce an NAIA All-American, three RRAC Defensive Players of the Year, one RRAC Newcomer of the Year, seven NSCAA All-Region players to go along with 15 all-conference selections on the men's side. Additionally, he guided seven players to All-RRAC honors on the women's side.
 
Collins went to UHV after spending three seasons as the assistant coach at Shoreline Community College (2012-15). He helped SCC to a pair of NWAC quarterfinal appearances, while also coaching the NWAC Player of the Year and multiple NWAC All-Stars. Additionally, he worked with the goalkeepers for one season (2011-12) with the Bellevue College men's soccer team.
 
A native of Seattle, Collins graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2011 with his bachelor's degree in urban planning and then earned his MBA in ethical leadership from Schreiner University in 2021. After graduating, he went on to play professionally with the Kitsap Pumas where he was a member of the 2011 PDL National Champions. He also spent five seasons playing and coaching in the PASL.
 
Collins currently holds his USSF National "C" license, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, as well as his NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping license.
