Two Zags Earn All-WCC Tennis Honors

SPOKANE, Wash. - Two Gonzaga University tennis players were recognized by the West Coast Conference as one player from both the men's and women's squads was named to the All-WCC squad. Senior Eduardo Kohlberg was named a first-team selection while senior Sarah Ust was an honorable mention selection.
A native of Bolivia, Kohlberg rotated between the number one and number two positions for Gonzaga during a season that the Zags men's tennis team finished in eighth place in the WCC championships and 7-14 overall. Kohlberg finished the season with a 16-4 record in singles competition while posting a 14-6 record in doubles action. Earlier this season, Kohlberg defeated nationally ranked Andrew Bizjak of the University of Washington.
A four-year letterwinner at Gonzaga, Ust finished her senior season guiding Gonzaga to a seventh place finish in the WCC championships and 11-12 overall. Ust compiled a 9-13 singles record competing primarily as the team's number one player. A native of Sammamish, WA, Ust also compiled a 10-12 record in doubles action.
