Women's Golf Finishes 3rd At Inland Collegiate

LEWISTON, Ida. - The Gonzaga University women's golf team played in its second tournament of the week and the Bulldogs faired well in their second outing of the Spring season as they collected a third place finish at 2003 Inland Collegiate Challenge at Lewiston Country Club. Gonzaga shot a team score of 332 to edge out Lewis-Clark State and Eastern Washington. Senior Kate Siddell led the Bulldogs with a round of 78 while four other Gonzaga golfers finished with rounds in the 80's.

Washington State University won the five team event with a team score of 310 while Idaho's Nicole Keller collected individual honors with a round of 75.

Following Siddell's round of 78 for Gonzaga were Kelsey Posedel and Carrie DeGree each with rounds of 83. Erin Picht finished with a round of 88 and Libby Campbell completed the Bulldogs five official golfers with a round of 99. Gonzaga golfer Cathy Knutson shot a round of 86 playing as an indepedent. Ellen Shaw and Crissy Siddell also competed for Gonzaga as independent entrys.
