SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Cal Poly Mustangs swept the Gonzaga University Bulldogs 7-0 Friday afternoon in non-conference action at the Mustang Tennis Courts.
The Mustangs earned the doubles point as the No. 1 doubles team of Greg Levy and and Nick Tracy defeated Drew Ernst and Bryce Cooper 8-2. The Mustangs No. 2 team of Garrett Leight and Travis Crawford downed Reid Arthur and Robert Penney 8-4 while Brett Van Linge and Sean Korduner defeated Brendan Cunningham and Shaun Whitney 8-4 in the third match.
Cal Poly swept all six of the singles matches as Robert Penney forced a third set for the Bulldogs as he went 7-6, 7-9, 6-4 in the No. 4 spot loss.
Gonzaga capt the six-match Spring Break swing Saturday against the Santa Clara Broncos at 12 p.m.
