Six Basketball Games On KONG In Seattle

SPOKANE, Wash. - FSN Northwest and KONG 6/16 TV announced they have reached a sub-licensing agreement that will allow KONG 6/16 TV to air six Gonzaga men's basketball games during the 2004-05 season.
The first game under the agreement will be Saturday when Saint Louis University visits the McCarthey Athletic Center for a 6 p.m. contest.
Gonzaga, FSN and KHQ-TV in Spokane announced a 4-year agreement last spring that brings the 18 Gonzaga games not broadcast on another entity to fans in the Pacific Northwest. Under the terms of the agreement, FSN owns the rights to and guarantees coverage in the Seattle market while KHQ will maintain exclusivity in all areas where KHQ is broadcast. Schedule conflicts as a result of FSN's extensive event calendar, however, made it necessary to place six of those games with an alternate broadcast partner in the Seattle market.
The six games in Seattle to be aired on KONG 6/16 TV are:

February 5 SANTA CLARA 3 p.m. KONG/KHQ17 SAN DIEGO 6 p.m. KONG/KHQ
