BOZEMAN, Mont. - Gonzaga University's Emily Anderson won her match at No. 1 singles, but it was the only bright spot for the Bulldogs as the University of Wyoming took a 6-1 women's tennis victory Saturday on the Montana State University courts.
Anderson, a sophomore transfer from American University, defeated Patricia Chien 5-7, 6-4, 11-9. Anderson appeared in just two matches last season prior to suffering a season-ending injury and then transferring to Gonzaga.
The Bulldogs (0-2) remain in Bozeman to face host MSU on Sunday.
