Pineda Gets Only Win For Bulldogs

BOISE, Idaho - In the opening round of the Boise State Red Lion Invitational on Wednesday morning, the Gonzaga men's tennis team was defeated by No. 34 University of South Alabama 6-0 at the Boise Racquet and Swim Club.
South Alabama swept all six of the singles matches.
The Bulldogs Marco Pineda came up with a win in the No.4 singles position in their second match of the day against Wichita States Augusto Alvarado. Pineda swept the match winning 6-1 and then 6-4.
Wichita State took the rest of the singles matches wining over the Bulldogs 5-1.
Gonzaga's men will continue play in Boise on Friday at 1:30.
