Women's Tennis Falls to Wyoming

Laramie, Wyo. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team dropped a 6-0 decision the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo. Sunday. Only singles play was completed as doubles matches were not needed to distinguish a winner.
With the loss, the Zags fall to 3-8, while the Cowgirls improved to 7-4 on the season.
Playing No. 1, Emily Anderson fell to Corina Lazar 6-3, 7-6 (8) before Aglaya Kokurina dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Rebecca Berger. Clare Dodge fell at No. 3 6-0, 6-4 to Carly Van Hollen, while Rika Mehndiratta fell in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (7) to Michelle Brown. Kristen MacWilliam was defeated by Sarah Summerfield at No. 5, 6-0, 7-5 before Danielle Farmer wrapped up singles play dropping a 6-4, 6-4 decision to Brittany DeFelice.
The Bulldogs will hit the courts again on March 8 when they host Northern Arizona at the Spokane Racquet Club.
