Gonzaga and Catholic Charities Team Up This Holiday Season

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University athletic department is teaming up with Catholic Charities Spokane this holiday season. The Zags and Catholic Charities Spokane will be collecting specific clothing items at the men's basketball game Thursday and the women's basketball game Friday.
The Bulldogs are asking fans to donate men's socks, hats and gloves at the men's basketball game versus Lewis-Clark State College Thursday. All items donated on Thursday will benefit House of Charity, Catholic Charities' homeless shelter for men in Spokane.
The Zags are then asking fans to donate diapers, any size, when they attend the women's basketball game versus the University of Idaho Friday. The diapers will benefit St. Margaret's Shelter, Catholic Charities' homeless shelter for women and children.
