Guillermo Posts Win But Zags Drop Second Round Match

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Levin Guillermo posted a win at No. 3 singles for Gonzaga University who suffered a 4-1 loss to Loyola Marymount University on the second day of the West Coast Conference Championships Saturday.
Guillermo led the Zags (7-14) with a 6-1 6-2 win at No. 3 singles to record his 10th win of the season but the Lions took two of the three doubles matches before posting wins in three of the four completed singles matches.
Gonzaga will face No. 6 seed University of Portland 8 a.m. Sunday in the season finale.
