Bulldogs Drop WCC Match At Saint Mary's

MORAGA, Calif. - Scott Sullivan posted a win at No. 5 singles for the Gonzaga University men's tennis team who suffered a 6-1 West Coast Conference defeat to Saint Mary's College Saturday afternoon.
Sullivan led the way for the Zags (5-10, 0-4 WCC) with his 6-1, 6-4 win at the No. 5 slot to post his sixth win of the season. Saint Mary's was able to hold off the Bulldogs in doubles play before taking five of the six singles matches en route to earning the conference win.
Along with Sullivan's win, Roman Dojcak also played some solid tennis as he suffered a 7-6, 6-3 defeat in the top singles spot.
Gonzaga will wrap up its California trip with a WCC match against Santa Clara Sunday afternoon.
