Five Players Post Wins But Zags Fall To UC Davis

DAVIS, Calif. - Five Gonzaga University men's tennis players posted wins but the Bulldogs loss 4-3 to UC Davis Saturday. It was the second meeting of the season between the two teams with the Aggies (4-8) winning the last meeting in Portland, Ore., Feb. 4.
The Bulldogs (5-15) won three of the six singles matches. Zhia Hwa Chong beat Chris Aria for the second time this season at the No. 4 position. Scott Sullivan posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Alec Haley at the No. 5 spot and after beating Jack Horowitz in the last meeting, Muzeen Ismath beat George Horowitz in three sets at No. 6.
Levin Guillermo and Jake Davis recorded an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles for the Bulldogs only win.
The Bulldogs regular season concludes at the University of Idaho Thursday at 3 p.m.
