Fallgren Named WCC Women's Golf Player Of The Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Gonzaga University junior Victoria Fallgren has been named the West Coast Conference women's golf Player of the Month for April.
Fallgren captured the individual title at last month's WCC Golf Championships after shooting an 8-over par 224 through regulation and defeating Seattle University's Caitlin McCleary on the first hole of the playoff.
Fallgren became the first Bulldog to earn medalist honors at the WCC Golf Championships.
Heading into the final round of competition at the WCC Championships at San Juan Oaks Golf Course in Hollister, Calif., Fallgren sat in a tie for eighth place. She birdied the final hole of regulation to pull into the tie with McCleary who was already the clubhouse leader.
In her final tune-up prior to the WCC Championships, Fallgren tied for third at the Gonzaga Spring Individual. For her efforts this season, Fallgren earned All-West Coast Conference honors.
