SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's basketball team fell two spots to 25th in the Associated Press Top 25, released Monday.
The Bulldogs went 1-1 this past week, defeating the University of Wisconsin on the road 70-55 before falling at then-No. 6 Stanford University Saturday 73-45. The tough loss to the Cardinal lost the Bulldogs 68 votes in this week's poll. Gonzaga received a total of 73 votes Monday to stand 25th.
Gonzaga (8-2) hosts UC Riverside tonight at 6 p.m. in its final home game of 2013. The Bulldogs then play at Washington State University Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the PAC-12 Network.
The University of Connecticut - who is a perfect 10-0 on the year - holds the top spot once again with all 36 first place votes and 900 total.
