Women's Basketball Still 22nd In USA Today Coaches Poll

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's basketball team stood firm at No. 22 in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday. The Bulldogs received 101 votes to claim the 22nd spot for the second-consecutive week.
The Zags, coming off an 87-43 victory over UC Riverside Monday, are 9-2 heading into their final non-conference game of the season. GU plays at Washington State University Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Gonzaga is also ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 at No. 25.
Two other West Coast Conference institutions continue to ‘also receive votes'. The University of San Diego, undefeated at 10-0, received 10 votes Tuesday, while BYU received nine votes with its 9-1 record.
The University of Connecticut is top ranked school, earning 32 first-place votes and 800 total votes.
