SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University senior-to-be Nick Kamisar is ranked 20th in the Northwest Region according to the final men's tennis rankings administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Kamisar is the second Bulldog to be ranked this season, senior-to-be Alvaro Nazal ranked ninth in the first Northwest rankings of the season in January.
"I'm happy for Nick. His hard work is paying off," Gonzaga head coach Peter MacDonald said. "This is great for our program to have two players who have been regionally ranked potentially in the line-up next season."
Kamisar, a native of Sammamish, Wash., posted an 18-12 record this past season, including a 12-8 dual match record. He went 4-1 in both No. 2 and No. 3 dual match singles while posting a 4-6 mark at No. 1 singles. He had a 7-7 dual match record at No. 3 doubles.
He earned All-West Coast Conference honorable mention accolades, his 18 wins leading the team.
The final rankings were determined by a vote of the Northwest Regional men's tennis committee.
