
Fahy, Carlino Fair Well In Canadian Golf Tournaments

SPOKANE, Wash. - A pair of Gonzaga University men's golfers turned in some solid performances over the weekend.
Junior-to-be Sean Carlino finished fourth in the Toronto State Men's Amateur at Lambton Golf and Country Club after shooting 69-72-74-73 for a 72-hole total of 288. His opening-round 69 had him atop the leaderboard. He trailed by two shots after the second round and entered the final round three shots off the lead. Ryan Tsangat won the tourney with a 280.
James Fahy, a senior-to-be, finished tied for 11th in the 112th in the BC Amateur Championship at Seymour Golf and Country Club in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He had rounds of 74-70-71-76 for a 72-hole total of 291. Jordan Lu and Michael Belle finished tied for first and 284, Lu winning the playoff on the fifth extra hole.
