Fahy, Walsh, Carlino In Canadian Men's Amateur Championship

WINNIPEG, Manitoba - Three Gonzaga University men's golfers are competing in the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship Monday thru Thursday.
James Fahy of Vancouver, British Columbia; Sean Carlino of Hamilton, Ontario, and Sean Walsh of Keller, Texas, are the Bulldogs competing.
The tournament is being played at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club and Southwood Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg. The winner earns an exemption into the 2015 RBC Canadian Open and 2014 US Amateur. More than a century old, the Men's Amateur is the most prestigious amateur event in Canada.
Walsh and Fahy have already qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship Aug. 11-17 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Ga.
