ABOUT THE SERIES
- This is the first-ever matchup between Gonzaga and Quinnipiac.
- Quinnipiac is the eighth program GU will have played of the current members from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
- This is the Zags' 14th all-time meeting against a current MAAC member.
- Gonzaga has won six of the previous 13 meetings versus current MAAC members.
- The Bulldogs swept Monmouth in a home-and-home series in 2000 and 2001, winning the latter, 79-54, at Monmouth.
- Gonzaga is 4-4 against schools from Connecticut all-time (Yale 1-0, Fairfield 1-1, UCONN 2-3).
ABOUT QUINNIPIAC
- The Bobcats, from Hamden, Conn., return seven players, including three starters, from last season's 9-21 finish.
- Daniel Harris is Quinnipiac's leading returning scorer, averaging 10.2 points per game in 2015-16.
- The Bobcats also bring back their top three post players, including last season's top rebounder, Abdulai Bundu (6.6 rpg).
- Quinnipiac is coming off of an 86-78 home loss to Columbia Monday. Five Bobcats scored double-figures led by Mikey Dixon's 17 points. Bundu had 13 points and nine rebounds. Harris added 11 points and five assists.
- The Bobcats outrebounded Columbia, 44-42, but Columbia shot 52 percent from the field.
- Through the first two games, Quinnipiac's opponents have shot 56.4 percent, compared to the Bobcats' 36.4 percent.
- Four Bobcats are averaging double-digit scoring after two games. Reggie Oliver and Dixon are both at 13.5 points per game.
- Quinnipiac led the nation in offensive rebounding at 16.6 per game last year.
- The Bobcats led the nation in offensive rebounding for four years in a row from 2010-14, before West Virginia snapped the streak in 2014-15 (although Quinnipiac still led the nation in total rebounding and rebounding margin).
- Over the last seven years, Quinnipiac ranks second among the MAAC schools in total wins, tallying 122 in that span.
ORLANDO MAGIC
- Gonzaga is 6-0 all-time in the tournament, formerly known as the Old Spice Classic, winning the 2008 and 2012 titles.
- In 2008, the Zags defeated Oklahoma State, Maryland and Tennessee to claim the title.
- Jeremy Pargo was named the tournament MVP.
- The Bulldogs beat Clemson, Oklahoma and Davidson during the 2012 title run.

- Gonzaga is 28-8 under Mark Few in tournaments over during the week of Thanksgiving.
- In their last six Thanksgiving tournaments, the Zags are 17-2.

- Zach Collins and Killian Tillie have burst into the Zag lineup through the first three games.
- The freshman duo has combined to average 20.3 points and 13.0 rebounds in GU's first two wins.
