ABOUT THE SERIES
- This is the 45th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Washington.
- The Huskies have a 29-15 advantage in the series all-time, but GU has won nine of the last 10 matchups, including the latest last season in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis, 80-64.
- Kyle Wiltjer had 24 points and Domantas Sabonis added 17. The teams combined for 60 fouls and 74 free throws.
- Gonzaga has won the last two meetings, dating back to a 99-95 Washington win in Dec. 4, 2005.
- Washington won the first meeting in the series, 23-14, on Feb. 24, 1910.

ABOUT WASHINGTON
- The Huskies come to Spokane off of two losses to TCU, the latest an 86-71 setback in Ft. Worth last Wednesday.
- Washington's Markelle Fultz scored 21 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out six assists in the loss. Carlos Johnson and Dominic Green added 13 and 11 points, while Noah Dickerson had 11 rebounds.
- Fultz is averaging 22.7 points per game (13th in the nation) at 54 percent shooting from the field. The freshman is adding 6.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists (14th in the nation) per outing. He also has 15 steals and 10 blocks this season.
- Four other Huskies are adding double-digit scoring per game; David Crisp (13.9), Dickerson (11.3), Matisse Thybulle (11.3) and Green (10.9).
- Dickerson leads the team with an average of 7.1 rebounds per game, while Malik Dime is blocking three shots a game.
- Dime ranks 15th in the nation in blocks per game and 20th with 21 total blocks.
- The Huskies rank third in the country, averaging 7.7 blocks per game, and 13th with an average of 88.1 points per game.
- Washington is 11th in the nation, shooting 42.4 percent from behind-the-arc.

- This is just the third time since the 1958-59 season that Gonzaga has started the season 8-0.
- In 2012-13, the Bulldogs started the season 9-0 before falling to Illinois.

- Przemek Karnowski was named the HoopHall LA Most Valuable Player following Saturday's win over Arizona.

ZAGS HEADED TO NYC IN 2017
- The 2017 Jimmy V Men's Basketball Classic doubleheader will be headlined by UConn, Gonzaga, Syracuse and Villanova -- to be played on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Game times will be announced at a later date.
- The 23rd annual event will air on ESPN -- pitting UConn against Syracuse and Gonzaga against Villanova -- from the New York City's famed Madison Square Garden.
