Rice also pulled down seven rebounds and blocked two shots. Chandler Smith grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and dished out a game-high six assists.

"We buckled down; [Idaho State] is not easy to guard," head women's basketball coach Lisa Fortier said. "They are so active in all the screens that they set in their motion offense…I'm just really happy that we started to get some stops."
Idaho State (1-2) claimed a four-point lead (10-6) late in the first quarter, but the Zags closed the period on a 9-0 run to take a 15-10 lead at the start of the second. The Bulldogs shot 47.1 percent in the second quarter for 22 points while holding ISU to 10 points off 33.3 percent shooting to take a commanding 17-point lead at halftime, 37-20.
Gonzaga continued to roll in the second and led by as many as 20 points in the final quarter.
"Our team played with a really good pace [tonight]," Campbell said. "We made a lot of extra passes which really helped."
Idaho State was led by Saylair Grandon with 12 points to go along with three assists and two steals. Sai Tapasa led the team on the glass with six rebounds to go along with eight points.
