"Much better day today," Gonzaga Head Coach Robert Gray said. "The course was more gettable and we had three players under par. Chris Mogg was our fourth counting score with a 73 that included a quadruple bogey on the Par-4, fourth hole. Nice consistent week by Matt with three rounds of 70 for T21. Also, nice rebounds for Holden (68) and Zach (69). Chris has a good round going until a quadruple bogey slowed him down but he stayed with it to count as the fourth score with a 73.
"We didn't change positions today but we were much more competitive with the rest of the field. Two decent rounds this week. We'll continue to work on improving consistency and avoiding big numbers."
BYU went 16-under (268) in the final round, and won the team title at 30-under (822). Long Beach State was second at 25-under (827). LBSU's Hunter Epson took medalist honors. He was 13-under (200).
