Zags play in third of fourth event of the fall season
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men's golf team heads to the Oregon State Invitational at the Trysting Tree Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament field includes Air Force, Arizona, Boise State, California Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Idaho, Oregon, Oregon State, Oregon State B, Pacific, San Francisco, Seattle, Utah and Washington State.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the Par-71, 7,297-yard Trysting Tree course. The event, hosted by Oregon State, will have 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

The last time the Zags played in a tournament hosted by Oregon State, GU placed 12th at the 2016 Northwest Classic in Canby, Ore.

The Bulldogs are coming off of an 11th-place finish at the Nick Watney Invitational on Oct. 1. Gonzaga ended the tournament at nine-over (861). The Zags' Matthew Ruel finished in a tie for 21st at three-under (210). He had three straight rounds of 70 (-1).

Monday's first and second rounds will be shotgun starts, beginning with Round 1 at 9 a.m. The third and final round begins Tuesday morning with tee times off of Holes 1 and 10 at 8 a.m. Live scoring via Golf Stat will be available on GoZags.com.
