THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga welcomes UT Arlington to Spokane for the second straight season, Tuesday at 6 p.m.
- Last year, the Zags cruised to an 89-55 win over UTA in the McCarthey Athletic Center. GU outrebounded the Mavs, 53-31. Five Bulldogs finished in double-digit scoring including Filip Petrusev (14) and Corey Kispert (12).
- The Zags are 6-1 all-time against current Sun Belt Conference members.
- Gonzaga is coming off of a 79-49 win at Texas A&M Friday, in its first road game of the season. Admon Gilder and Ryan Woolridge each scored 16 points. Filip Petrusev added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
- GU is one of six programs that has started the last four seasons 4-0, along with Kansas State, Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia and North Carolina.
- The Bulldogs have won 24 straight regular season games, the longest active streak in the nation.
- Gonzaga's 25 consecutive wins at home is the second longest active streak in the country, and fifth longest in program history.
- Filip Petrusev was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week Monday.

- UT Arlington is coming off of a 67-47 loss at Oregon Sunday. UTA shot just 23.4 percent (15-64) from the floor – its worst field-goal percentage in program history. Arkansas sophomore transfer Jordan Phillips led the Mavericks with 14 points, while David Azore tallied 11. Jabari Narcis grabbed nine rebounds for UT Arlington.
- Five Mavs enter Tuesday's game with Gonzaga averaging at least eight points per game, led by Azore's 10.5 points. Narcis averages a team-best 8.3 rebounds per outing.
- UT Arlington opened the season with back-to-back home wins over Texas-Dallas and Tulsa.
- After being predicted to finish second-to-last (11th place) in the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Poll in 2018-19, UTA was picked to finish second in 2019-20 in voting conducted by the league's head coaches. The Mavericks shattered those expectations last year by finishing in a tie for second; that nine-spot improvement from preseason to final regular-season finish was tied for the best in the nation.
