- The match marks the opening of West Coast Conference play for Gonzaga. Santa Clara lost 4-3 at Portland on Friday.
- After Gonzaga collected its first-ever win over No. 15 Washington State, the Zags were ranked No. 38 by the ITA. It marks the highest-ranking in school history.
- Graciela Rosas and Sophie Whittle were named the WCC Doubles Team of the Week for their efforts in a pair of wins. The duo is 11-0 on the season overall.
- Sophie Whittle moved from No. 1 to No. 4 in the latest ITA rankings released on Feb. 19.
