
Zags Compete at Seattle U Redhawk Invitational Monday and Tuesday

Men’s golf plays at prestigious Chambers Bay Golf Course
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men's golf team heads to University Place, Wash., for the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
The two-day tournament will be played on the newly remodeled Chambers Bay Golf Course. The Par-72 course plays 7,585 yards. This is the sixth annual Seattle U Redhawk Invitational.
This year's field include Gonzaga, Seattle University, Cal Baptist, Drexel, Fresno State, Idaho, Indiana (90), Little Rock (99), Northern Colorado, Oregon State (53), Rutgers, Seton Hall, UC Irvine, UT-Arlington, Utah (71), Washington (87) and Winthrop. Golfstat relative rankings Top-100 schools listed in parentheses.
In its last tournament, GU tied for 16th at the Bandon Dunes Championships at 63-over (927). In their final round the Zags were 32-over (320) as a team. Nick Nolan led the team, tying for 40th place at 10-over (226), followed by Charlie Magruder tied at 42nd. Magruder finished 11-over (227), after going eight-over (80) in the final round.
The Bulldogs will be represented this week by Tyler Munetake, Holden Backes, Nick Nolan, Charlie Magruder and Grant Johnson.
Monday and Tuesday's tee times start at 8 a.m. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat on GoZags.com.
