- Gonzaga is coming off of a 1-1 weekend with a loss at No. 9 Pepperdine and a win at Loyola Marymount.
- Gonzaga will honor its four seniors before the Saturday match: Sophie Whittle, Graciela Rosas, Domonique Garley and Sara Komer.
- The Zags are 3-3 in WCC play, with its three losses all to teams ranked in the top 40 at the time.
- Saint Mary's enters the weekend in third in the WCC, behind only San Diego and Pepperdine who are both 5-0 and yet to play each other.
