Her 68 was the lowest round of the day in the tournament by two strokes. The sophomore made five birdies and 11 pars in Round 1, with 11 more pars in the second round. She was five-over (76) in Round 2.
Cassie Kim and Quynn Duong are tied for 21st and 24th at seven-over and eight-over. Kim made three birdies and 12 pars in her second round of 72 (+1). Kim's 26 pars are the second-most in the field after two rounds. Alyssa Nguyen is tied for 87th at 21-over (163).
"Our team is happy to be at it again," Gonzaga Head Coach Brad Rickel said. "Mary Scott's 68 in the morning round was a great round. Freshman Chaewon Baek showed up to play. I'm so happy with how she went about her business, she's leading after her first 36 hole in her first college tournament!
"The team showed a little rust and let it get away from us on the greens in the afternoon round but we will look to clean that up tomorrow."
Northern Arizona's Kimberlee Tottori is in second behind Baek at one-over (143). Three golfers, including Wolfe, sit in third at two-over. Boise State is four strokes behind GU in second at 21-over (589).
