SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga men's soccer program announced their 2023 season schedule. The upcoming slate features 18 regular season games and two exhibitions.
The Bulldogs host nine matches in 2023, opening the season with an exhibition against Warner Pacific (Aug. 16) and then traveling to Seattle to play University of Washington in another exhibition on Aug. 19. The Zags start the regular season on Aug. 24 at UC Riverside and host Sacramento State for the regular season home opener on Aug. 27. The West Coast Conference season begins versus LMU on Sept. 30 in Spokane.
Following its season home opener, Gonzaga goes on the road to UC San Diego (Aug. 31) and UC Irvine (Sept. 3). The Zags then host Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 7 and Seattle University on Sept. 10. Gonzaga goes back on the road to play UNLV (Sept. 14) and Utah Tech (Sept. 17) before returning home to compete against Cal Poly (Sept. 20).
The Bulldogs close out the non-conference away schedule at Incarnate Word (Sept. 24) before starting WCC play. After traveling to San Francisco on Oct. 7, the Zags play Washington at home on Oct. 14 for their last non-conference game of the year.
Gonzaga continues WCC competition on Oct. 21 against Saint Mary's at home before traveling to Portland on Oct. 25 and Pacific on Oct. 28. The Zags close out the home season with a game against Santa Clara on Nov. 4, followed by the last game of the season at San Diego on Nov. 10.
