Women's Rowing Hosts Saint Mary's on Friday and Saturday

The races take place at Silver Lake

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga women's rowing team continues their spring schedule this Friday and Saturday against Saint Mary's on Silver Lake.

The Zags are coming off their eighth-straight West Coast Conference title from last season. The Bulldogs competed at the NCAA Championships in New Jersey and finished 19th overall.

GU was picked to win the WCC in preseason coaches polls along with Hannah Cooney, Ella Beck, Camille Ruhlin-Hicks and Amanda Triebensee being named to the All-WCC preseason team. Saint Mary's was picked to finish fifth in the WCC preseason coaches poll. The Gaels already has defeated Portland, who was ranked third in the preseason poll.
