The Bulldogs are seeking their ninth-straight title

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga women's rowing team heads to the West Coast Conference Championships to defend their title this Saturday, May 18. The race takes place on Lake Natoma in Sacramento, Calif.

The Zags have historically been dominant at the championships, winning the last eight championships and 21 in program history. The team was picked to finish first in the conference in the preseason coaches polls as well.

Races begin at 8:40 a.m. with the 2V4 race. The 1V4 boat races at 9 a.m. followed by the 2V8 at 9:20 a.m. The Varsity Eight will close out the championships with a race at 9:40 a.m.
