DAVIS, Calif. – A Gonzaga men's tennis doubles pairing won their bracket today as the Bulldogs wrapped up the Aggie Invitational.

Giovanni Branchetti/Jay Fairclough capped off an undefeated weekend by beating Nevada's Youssef Kadiri/Rayen Hermassi 8-5 in the championship match of the Blue Draw. 

Kai-Luca Ampaw/Fabio Stapper fell 8-7 (9-7) to Nevada in a close consolation doubles match, while Ampaw dropped his extra singles match 4-6, 6-4 (10-3). Instead of a third set, all consolation singles matches used a 10-point tiebreaker.

Up next: The Bulldogs will compete in the ITA Regional Championships from Oct. 17 to 22 in Seattle, WA.
