SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga University secured a decisive 91-31 exhibition victory over Carroll College at McCarthey Athletic Center, led by
Taylor Smith's 20 points and
Allie Turner's 19 points with a 9-of-10 performance from the free-throw line.
The Bulldogs secured a commanding victory, ending with a total score of 91 points, shooting 49.0% from the field. Carroll College finished the game with 31 points and shot 18.9% from the field.
The
Zags dominated the game, leading for the majority of the game and achieving their largest lead of 60 points late in the fourth quarter.
Lauren Whittaker was a key player on both ends, scoring 12 points and grabbing seven rebounds. The team's aggressive defense forced Carroll into 23 turnovers as GU recorded 14 steals on the day.
