MARICOPA, Ariz. – Gonzaga men's golf tied for 17
th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course Tuesday.
The Bulldogs were 19-over (883) in the two-day 54-hole event hosted by the University of Wyoming. GU's opening round of 287 (-1) matched the team's fifth-lowest round of the season.
Ethan Flynn led the Zags with a 35
th-place finish at one-under (215). The junior opened the event with a 69 (-3) in the opening round with five birdies and 11 pars.
Guillermo Polo Bodart tied for 82
nd at seven-over (223). His final round of 73 (+1) was his best of the tournament, with three birdies and 11 pars.

Daniel Nunez, and
Charlie Olson were all 10-over (226) in a tie for 94
th.
Daniel Kim finished at 17-over (233) as an individual.
Charlie Forster and Alejando De Castro led Long Beach State to the team title with first and second place individual finishes. Forster took medalist honors at 20-under (196), while De Castro was second at 14-under (202). LBSU was 37-under (827) and Iowa State was second at 23-under (841).
