SPOKANE, Wash. – Mario Saint-Supéry, a rising star from Spain, signed a financial aid agreement to attend Gonzaga University and will join the men's basketball team for the 2025-26 season.
Saint-Supéry, a 6-3 guard from Málaga, Spain, brings a wealth of experience from his time with Unicaja Malaga and BAXI Manresa in Spain's top ACB league.
During the 2024–25 season with Baxi Manresa, Saint-Supéry averaged 8.3 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game, shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from three-point range and 86.7 percent from the free throw line – in less than 15 minutes of action per game.
A staple of Spain's youth national teams, Saint-Supéry was named MVP of the 2022 FIBA U16 European Championship and delivered standout performances at the 2023 and 2024 FIBA U18 European Championships, averaging 21.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game on the latter, including a triple-double of 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against Slovenia.
Saint-Supéry debuted with Spain's Senior National team in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, on Nov. 22, 2024.
