SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga men's Cross Country and Track head coach Pat Tyson announced the signing of Zach Frazier on Friday, with Frazier staying in Spokane to join the Zags for the 2025-2026 season.

A Spokane local, Frazier is finishing up his high school running career at Gonzaga Prep this spring. He set the second fastest 5k mark in Gonzaga Prep Cross Country history, running a time of 14:32.2 in September to cap his senior season. He finished 33^rd overall at the Brooks West Cross Country Championships to finish a successful high school cross country career. 

 Frazier brings an experience in variety of distances on the track, setting the Gonzaga Prep school records in the 600 meters (1:28.81) and the 2000 meters (5:53.49) in 2025. He also holds top 5 times in Prep history in the 1600 and 3200 meters.

Zach Frazier is excited to join the team soon, commenting that "one of the reasons I chose Gonzaga University is because of the team culture, which is unlike anything I've seen before. Frazier will join the Zags starting in the 2026-2027 season.
