The Bulldogs finished their three-match up home series with their final match up against No. 13 San Diego and fell 4-0.
Opening doubles match is duo Jay Fairclough and Giovanni Branchetti who took on San Diego's Adrien Berrut and Lambert Ruland in a competitive match up that left the Zags short 6-4. Also from doubles is Diego Herrera and Gus Krauel who started off with a good lead advantage against San Diego, unfortunately San Diego came back to take the doubles point 7-5.Â
Gonzaga began singles play with Oscar Rashed battling it out in two sets that left the Zags with a defeat, 6-1Â and 6-3. Jay Fairclough also fought through a competitive match up against Manvydas Balciunas, but fell short 6-4Â and 6-3. Diego Herrera played on court six battling through his sets but came up short 6-2Â and 6-3.
The team will be traveling down to California for a match up against Loyola Marymount. The match will be Friday April 3rd and will begin at 11am.Â
