The Zags pull off the Senior Day win
Returning to court two were Oscar Rashed and Nicholas Reeves, who dominated Pacific in a 6-1 lead. Senior Giovanni Branchetti and sophomore Jay Fairclough secured the doubles point for the Bulldogs with a 7-5 victory.
Nicholas Reeves took control against his opponent, Pacific's Nico Rating, adding another point for the Zags, 6-2 and 6-1. The momentum kept flowing for the team as Diego Herrera opened play on court six; Herrera lost the first set 6-4, before claiming the last two sets 6-2 and 6-1.
In a powerful three-set match-up with Jay Fairclough pitted against Christof Schaertlin, Fairclough lost the first set 6-2, before making his victory claim 7-5 and 7-6 tiebreaker.
The team will be making their way down to Oregon, where they will take on Portland on April 18th, and that match-up will start at 10 am.
