SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men's tennis head coach D.J. Gurule announced the addition of Noah Pawirodirjo, a transfer from Young Harris College, to the Bulldogs' roster. Pawirodirjo will join Gonzaga with two years of eligibility remaining.
Pawirodirjo arrives in Spokane after a strong career at the Division II level, where he developed into a well-rounded player competing in both singles and doubles. During his freshman campaign, his performance earned him Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month honors and a spot on the All-Conference Team. Pawirodirjo also reached as high as No. 13 in the ITA regional rankings, highlighting his impact during his first collegiate season.
"Noah is going to have an immediate impact on our program," said Gurule. "He is the complete package, he excels in everything he does. He is so passionate and professional in his approach to tennis and his team. We are excited for him to compete for the Zags."
During his time at Young Harris, Pawirodirjo gained experience across multiple courts, contributing in both singles and doubles play while helping his team compete at a high level. Prior to his collegiate career, Pawirodirjo attended Vrijzinning-Christelijk Lyceum, where he was consistently ranked among the top 10 players in his age group beginning at age 14. He reached five finals in junior competition, capturing three titles during that span.
"From the very first moment, I knew that Gonzaga was the place for me," Pawirodirjo said. "I got a really good feeling about the culture and the energy around the program. I'm excited to grow over the next two years, both on and off the court."
