Gonzaga and LSU to Meet in Bad Boy Mowers Spokane Series Nov. 14

First-ever matchup between the Zags and Tigers set for Numerica Veterans Arena

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men's basketball and LSU will meet for the first time in program history Nov. 14 inside Spokane Numerica Veterans Arena in the Bad Boy Mowers Spokane Series.

Tickets will go on sale to the public June 26 through Numerica Veterans Arena. Tipoff time and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.

The Bad Boy Mowers Spokane Series brings another marquee nonconference opponent to Spokane, continuing Gonzaga's tradition of building one of the nation's most compelling schedules. The Bulldogs and Tigers will square off in a premier early-season showcase, giving fans in the Inland Northwest another opportunity to see the Zags on one of Spokane's biggest basketball stages.

Gonzaga has created several memorable moments inside Numerica Veterans Arena, including last season's 83-68 win over Southeastern Conference member Oklahoma in the Bad Boy Mowers Series. The Zags also opened the 2024-25 season with a 101-63 win over No. 7 Baylor in a battle of Top-10 ranked teams at the Arena. GU has won its last seven games inside Spokane Arena.

Early in the 2022-23 season, GU earned an 88-72 victory over Kentucky in the Numerica Veterans Arena. The Top-5 matchup drew 12,333 fans, the largest crowd ever for any event in the history of the Arena. The Bulldogs are 15-6 all-time in games played inside the Numerica Veterans Arena since it opened in 1995.

The addition of LSU provides Gonzaga fans with another high-profile home-area matchup against a Southeastern Conference opponent and adds to an exciting nonconference slate for the Bulldogs. GU has enjoyed success recently against SEC competition, winning seven of their last nine matchups against current members of the conference. During that stretch, GU picked up wins over Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Auburn, including last season's 94-59 victory over Kentucky and 95-85 win over Alabama. Under Head Coach Mark Few, Gonzaga owns 20 wins over current SEC programs.

Further Gonzaga versus LSU game day information will be available at GoZags.com and through Gonzaga men's basketball social media channels.
